Home School Gym - For Children of all Ages and Abilities
The Go Kids Home School PE class provides a safe and positive physical education experience for home-schooled children. Children of all skill and fitness levels are invited to have fun and keep their bodies moving. It is our aim to help children improve their physical skills, enjoy fitness and build their confidence in a structured, non-competitive environment. We use a variety of games and activities that are both fun and educational. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere in which children of varying ages can come together and learn physical skills that will lead them to a lifetime of health, fitness and fun.

Meet the Teacher: Emmie
Emmie holds a Bachelor’s in Physical Education and a Master’s degree in Adapted Physical Education, both from SUNY Cortland. She has worked with children in a variety of settings for over ten years. Emmie currently teaches multi-sport classes, before and afterschool programs, and oversees school break and summer camps at Go Kids. In addition, she coaches soccer at Skidmore College. Emmie is a NYS certified teacher in Physical Education and Health Education.
After teaching in the public school system, she realized that she wanted to create her own child-centered curriculum with a focus on a fun and enjoyable way to promote a healthy lifestyle. Anyone who watches Emmie during class quickly realizes that she loves working with the children and the children love learning from her. Emmie hopes that each child leaves class with a smile and a growing interest in learning how to live a healthy and active life.
